Is there any particular game to start with first with Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim.
Oblivion and Skyrim have fast travel, Morrowind does not. Oblivion has a GOTY edition that's generally cheap as hell during steam sales. If you're not quite desperate to play I'd say pick up Oblivion next steam sale, unless you like dragons and the kicking of dragon ass, in which case skyrim is worth it. Skyrim's combat's a bit more fun, but you don't get to bunny hop across the country side for shits, giggles and profit like oblivion.
There's fast travel in Morrowind, sorta. You can take the Silt Striders to certain cities and there's the mark and recall spells.

Not to mention the Mage's Guild has portals to other Mage's Guild centers.

Though I will admit, the fast travel of Oblivion/Skyrim is a HUGE convenience.  I just think Oblivion should've gone with what Skyrim did and not give you every major city automatically.

I kinda wish the radar system in Skyrim was a bit mroe like Fallout.  I understand why it's not but damn, really wish I knew where my god damn companion was without having to wait an hour.

Ironbite-just a mark for where my ally is.

I should amend my statement a bit and point out that while there is a mod that essentially sets it up so that you can't just fast travel to any city, the problem with it is that the way the game is set up, you're put in the middle of nowhere at the beginning.  You can turn around and walk all the way around the imperial city until you get in, but then you've still got to make the arduous journey to one of the other towns.

Also, due to fast travel being so easy to use, there are naturally no forms of "natural" fast travel like Skyrim and Morrowind have.

Not a fan of Fallout series, but that does sound handy.

I'm thinking of getting Pokemon Black 2 when it comes out, depending on how different it is from the original.  I want to take a cute little Audino (or however it's spelled) and turn it into a vicious red-eyed monster, just like I did with Cuddles the Clefable in SS.

Well, the core mechanics are the same as BW1, but the story is a sequel story.

Personally, I want to get it just to have fun and collect all of N's Pokemon to make my team.

I never played BW so it's all new to me anyway.

Aw, fair enough.

I guess all I can do is suggest a synopsis to prevent some confusion then. xD

I've decided to simply buy La-Mulana via Playism, since it'll take forever to get through Steam Greenlight at this rate.

I'll be picking it up on the 20th, when it comes out here. When does it come out in the States?

FTL - Faster Than Light comes out tomorrow. I can't wait, it looks freaking brilliant and its so cheap I won't feel bad about grabbing it on launch.

Comes out on the 18th in the states, though that is my fiancee's birthday so I'll most likely either be doing something else or playing it so she can watch.

And yeah, I'm considering FTL as well, paid for my pre-order of borderlands ages ago so I have some play money.

My bro pre-ordered it a while back, I could introduce you two, if ye wanted.  He's a fairly cool dude, even if he does get too into the game every so often.

FTL - Faster Than Light is now out on GOG, and I'm now the proud owner of a copy. I'm now a very happy panda.
