I'll admit, I smiled when I saw the headline in the news. I was a little disappointed it was suicide, but that's just me feeling vengeful.

It's disappointing that Castro did not live out his sentence, but after any possible feelings of being cheated of retribution, his victims may find it an emotional relief that they no longer have to think of him dwelling on the same planet as them, nor breathing the same air. Total and perfect safety from him, at last.

I speak from personal experience of the death of someone who wasn't the best person in the world by far... He ain't getting away with it.  Call me deluded or whatever for a belief I can't prove, but you don't get away with stuff like that.

Considering all the things he had put his victims through... Well turns out that he couldn't even handle being locked up for a while. (In much nicer cell than HIS victims, and I bet he was being treated much better than them.)

I for one do not mourn his passing.

Kinda odd to plea guilty in order to avoid a potential death penalty only to off yourself not too long later.

Guess he either wanted to make sure he was the one to take his own life or figured he could stand being in prison and couldn't.
