RIP Tony Benn (1925 - 2014)

"There is no moral difference between a stealth bomber and a suicide bomber. Both kill innocent people for political reasons."

“If we can find the money to kill people, we can find the money to help people.”

"I'm not frightened about death. I don't know why, but I just feel that at a certain moment your switch is switched off, and that's it. And you can't do anything about it."

He says 'Food Fight' in the original, but this remake is not less funny. :D
That said, I've stopped trying to anticipate what people around here want a while ago, I've found it makes things smoother.
For I was an hungred, and ye told me to pull myself up by my bootstraps: I was thirsty, and ye demanded payment for the privilege of thine urine: I was a stranger, and ye deported me: naked, and ye arrested me for indecency.

Then take into account the likely higher medical bills for the purebred over the mutt.
Quote from: Jordan Duram
It doesn't concern you, Sister, that kind of absolutist view of the universe? Right and wrong determined solely by a single all-knowing, all powerful being whose judgment cannot be questioned and in whose name the most horrendous acts can be sanctioned without appeal?

Quote from: Supreme Court of Canada
Being required by someone else’s religious beliefs to behave contrary to one’s sexual identity is degrading and disrespectful.

Dog breeding is essentially the perfect rebuttal to any argument against "race-mixing".

This implies that the other person has at least a basic understanding of genetics.
Despite knowing about indoctrination I thought it was a good idea to put a human Reaper near my office. Now I am a sentient husk :(.

If I could draw I'd make a comic where a rich supermodel walks into a neighborhood where the most expensive thing anyone can afford is McDonald's and go "Poor people can't be fat!  Get off of Tumblr and get jobs if you don't like it!!!  Don't like the job you have now?  Why weren't you born into a rich family like me?!  Go to school!  College is only 80,000 dollars a year, any hard-working American should be able to earn that in a week!"
It's me, the little fancy kitten

Given April Fool's Day coming soon, I won't be surprised if we find Fred Phleps' will or something that will say he was just trolling us all to teach homophobes a lesson.

Has his funeral happened yet? If it hasn't, this exact thing needs to happen at it.

How? Calvin may have been cynical and loved sarcasm but isn't that kids "rebellion" against the teacher and self thinking attitude something that he also had as a kid so seeing the kid do that would have probably made adult Calvin happy.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!
