I'm sure I'm still missing loads of stuff.

(Also just wondering if Osborne got trodden on doing a Tarzan elephant call (for the TDD), or if I'm reading too much into it.)

Why they had to do a three headed dinosaur, not sure.

I assume it's just a visual pun: The Triple Dip(lodocus) Recession.

Quote from: Jordan Duram
It doesn't concern you, Sister, that kind of absolutist view of the universe? Right and wrong determined solely by a single all-knowing, all powerful being whose judgment cannot be questioned and in whose name the most horrendous acts can be sanctioned without appeal?

Quote from: Supreme Court of Canada
Being required by someone else’s religious beliefs to behave contrary to one’s sexual identity is degrading and disrespectful.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

The material needs a defender more than the spiritual. If there is a higher power, it can defend itself from the material. Thus denotes 'higher power'.

I'd need my dad handy to adequately explain it in economic terms.

I do know, I don't know it in terms I can adequately defend from in an argument. Think "I know, but I don't want to start an argument about it."

@Shepard: so the ideal trans person is Ash Ketchum?
@thejebusfire: perfectly illustrates why I don't take pro-life activists seriously anymore.

This one just brings tears to my eyes, it is so spot on.

Single women and mothers are about the most dumped on segment of the population. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Way to go, fundies, kick 'em when they're down and don't stop kicking 'em, ever, cause jeezuz and holey fuckedup babble. Cheaper to bitch about it than actually do something pro-active like sponsor free contraceptives or offer meaningful prenatal care and adoption programs, or job training and neonatal support...cuz government will do that, and then the fundies still have their bitching points on taxes.
