Is there anything garlic butter DOESN'T improve?  Pizza, toast, baked potatoes...it seems almost universally applicable!  Also, think I've done the ranch on baked 'tato before, and I think no baked potato is truly complete without sour cream.  Or garlic butter.  ...Or both...I must test this, when I've got sour cream.

Italian seasoning and garlic will turn any pre-made pizza from a boring "This feels cheaper than McDonalds" experience to a "Wow it's almost like it's home made!" experience.

Same for spaghetti, actually.  I never make spaghetti without garlic and Italian seasoning now.

I spread 15 bags of cypress mulch in my back garden...sat down to relax on the bench and breathe in the jasmine vine blooms, watching my two young dogs stretch out and nap on the soft, fragrant cypress. So peaceful.

iStock increased the base commission rate for illustrations from 15% to 20%, so from now on I'll make a third more money from each clip-art sale.

So this isn't really good for me, but for my mom it is:

Mom really wants a chicken coop. Bob (stepdad) told her that the only way he's going to get one is if we get a free chicken from somewhere.

Today, Ozzy the cat comes running into the yard, proud as can be, with a little chicken chick in his mouth. We rescued it, took it to the vet (needed an antibiotic shot but was otherwise okay), and the original owners were bored with the chickens anyways so we got to keep this one (they already sold the rest). So I guess mom gets her chicken coop after all. Thanks, Ozzy. *facepalm*
