I'm watching a Mythbusters episode where they recreate a Doom 3 level. Kinda disappointed in the choice, but I can understand why they chose Id Tech 4 for the episode.

I did my taxes this past weekend and am super excited for the refund. It's a miracle because I've never done taxes this early.

Just saw my brother on the news.  Nothing bad, they were doing a piece on Pulaski Tech's aerospace division, and there he is, workin with his homies!

I had my first appointment with a gender/sexuality specialist today. Nothing much happened, but it's a big step toward starting HRT. If everything goes well I should be ready to start within a month or two.

The past couple days were pretty freaking awesome. I got a job offer Friday that I plan on accepting, and another co-worker got a job offer that he accepted. This means my boss will shit himself, because he's basically losing half his team (and he deserves it).

Saturday we had fun shopping and ate yummy food, then played Alice. Today I went to a friend's birthday party, met people, and ate lots of sugar. Tomorrow I'm not going to work, because fuck it, I have vacation and I'm quitting anyway.

I got a job!

I had an interview on Thursday, and half an hour into talking with the CEO, he's saying "we're taking you in any case, it's just a question which department". And turns out despite my expectations, what they are doing is in fact relevant to my interests and preferences (my application was a bit of a 'well, nothing lost if I send one anyway'). The salary question wasn't settled until today (their first offer was rather low), but I already spent the weekend looking for an apartment and will continue today.
