I don't think it is. Take the example of a newspaper. One newspaper is definitely useful. Having 2-4 back issues might be good in case you feel the need to review a story. Having a small stack might be good in case you need scrap paper for something. The litterbox, a school project, what have you. But there's a certain point where you have a bunch of newspaper's you'll never possibly use, & you
keep collecting more.
Likewise, with money. You need a certain amount to survive. You need a certain amount more for it to be useful. And having a healthy surplus isn't a bad thing, because of the occasional emergency or indulgence. But eventually you reach a point where its only purpose is to sit there & contribute to your net worth.
