What Yae said.  I remember my sister and cousins using that trick when I was a colt.  Tight-wrapped curls for Pinkie, a loose spiral for Rarity.  Three, four seconds, tops, and that should do it.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

Saw this video with a bunch of criticisms of Brony culture and I thought it had valid points. Just wondering what everybody else thought.

Maybe it does make some valid points.

However, when the thumbnail has subtitles asking how you can "out-asshole" a fucking terrorist, then I have a hard time wanting to spend 40 minutes of my time listening to it.

I believe at that point in the video he is referring to his experiences with 4Chan.

I agree there are way too many assholes in the fandom.
On the subject of the inconsistencies,
1. Doesn't Twilight keep on refering to Nightmare Moon, as the Mare in the Moon in pilot, so it is possible that part of the legend was lost over time, it does happen IRL.
2. Twilight was an asocial bookworm, when she attended Celestia's school, so it's very possible she didn't go out much, so it's possible the upper crust of Cantorlot don't know about her. Also IRL, people seem to have short memories, so according the show it seems to be the same with ponies.

About the origin of the fan base it may have started with 4chan for many, but I'm sure many have different stories, I've never been on 4chan, and I started watching it out of nostalgic reasons(I loved G1 MLP as a kid) and if it wasn't for my mom telling me that MLP was on, I probably would have not found out about it until later.

I plan to get to bed soon so I can watch ponies with my girlfriend on livestream.  If Burger King fucking carried The Hub, I'd watch it there, but they don't so they can bugger off.

Tahaha, that was a great episode~  Pinkie Pie, you are an effervescent fountain of delight, and I love you very much. ^-^

Oh, and the parodies~ I don't think I've laughed so hard in quite a while.

A Pinkie Pie episode being excellent? Wow, what a surprise. =3

Part of me doesn't want to deride these people merely because of their age, but another part is saying, "Pfft, teenagers.  What the fuck do they know anyway?"  There's like one kid who's a brony, at least.  The rest of them range from somewhat cool to just plain annoying douches who've been shaped by all that stupid narrow minded boy/girl segregation shit their whole life.

I do like the one line about the girl who mentions that nobody gets in her face for liking Buzz Lightyear.

And here's their reaction:

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I don't think I've laughed as hard as I did at a FiM episode than at that Bond parody "Here, hold my drink, gotta go destroy a cake"

The Bond bit really was the best part of the show. I had many lulz.

Is it bad that 5 minutes into the episode I had to get something sweet to eat??
The Bond part was too funny, especially seeing the Berry Punch & Carrot Top being his groupies

So I caught 3/4 of the pony part of today's Marathon.

1st:  Dunno.  New episode re-air perhaps.
2nd: Sweet and Elite
3rd:  Baby Cakes
4th:  A Friend In Deed

So, as one of the few ponies not to help ruin the cake, Applejack again shows she has the least to learn about being a friend.

So I know not everyone has The Hub, but this question is for those who do.

Did you catch the pony part of the marathon?
