If it was actually true to history, then the pony governments would end up enacting laws making it legal to kill the buffalo and destroy their food source. Also, they would give the buffalo all sorts of nasty diseases that would wipe out their population, and force them off their land. Then they would take the buffalo children and send them away to boarding schools, where they'd be abused and required to forget their native languages and convert to whatever religion the ponies follow, essentially destroying their culture.

A lot of folks didn't like it for various reasons.  Me, I loved it, but even I think Pinkie's song was pretty weak compared to the others.

I really don't think that episode is as bad as everyone here is making it out to be.  It had a lot of good jokes, and was still pretty interesting.  Hell, the ponies even got to get out of their normal settings.

That's the episode that involves a mental psychotic breakdown of one of the mane characters, complete with hallucinations and multiple personality disorder.

It ends with ponies in a conga line.

"Party of One" is one of the best episodes, but Pinkie Pie is my favorite pony. Also if you like "Party of One", check out "Lesson Zero", because psychotic breakdowns are FUN.
