I finally got my ME3 Collector's Edition. I opened it up and... the lithograph is no bigger than a picture I put in a photo album. Wtf is this shit, Bioware? I was expecting something better/bigger!

Mordin and Thane's deaths.   Both were epic, and not cheesy at all.  I mean, I knew Thane was going to die, but I never expected that.   And Mordin's death, brought tears to my eyes

Okay I beat the game and 99% was the best thing ever but like with the American economy the 1% kills it.  And by the 1% I mean the endings

Her nightmares frighten me so bad. The poor woman has PTSD really bad. But her nightmares are giving me PTSD.

I can't believe the ending. It is CRAP!  3 endings, yet they really all end the same way minus a tiny change here or there.  What you did do or didn't do doesn't matter in the end (reputation/paragon/renegade all 3 of them actually doesn't mean anything)  I felt robbed of a good ending, no epilogue, nothing.  Just choose between 3 sets of fireworks.  /rant

Okay, so I loved the game, but the ending doesn't even make sense to me.

First off, the Catalyst repeats the cycle so that synthetics don't take over, but USES the synthetic life of the Reapers to do so?  Doesn't that seem like, I dunno, HUGELY hypocritical???

And why would ships and relays be destroyed if you're choice only affects synthetic LIFE?  Last I checked, the mass relays weren't fucking LIVING.

Also, like CaseAgainstFaith said, all three endings are practically the same, just with slight tweaks.

I mean, I could live with an ending where Shepard dies but saves the universe in the process.  That would be a fitting end to the series and that I have no problem with.  But this?  WTFH??

If you get the PERFECT ending (including completing multiplayer) there's a cutscene after the credits showing that Shepard is still alive.

There is an epilogue, though. With Stargazer AKA Buzz Aldrin. At least in my playthrough with the 'control' ending. Now whether or not it gives closure is another thing entirely.

I TOLD YOU GUYS THE KID WAS IMPORTANT! But everyone ignored me like usual. Everyone I talked to brushed me off and said 'eh... sympathy points'. Yeah right! I had it figured out two months ago that he was important for something! *victory* He was a god damn hint that something wasn't totally right with Shepard. And it wasn't just the PTSD talking because that should have popped up in ME1 and 2 as well considering who all she lost on Virmire and everywhere else!

I believe you get that with both the control and destroy endings.  Not sure about the synthesis one though.  However the cutscene right after the credits from the perfect ending

shows a short shot of Shepard laying in the rubble from the initial blast that injured him/her at the lift, and he/she starts to breath.  One theory I've heard is that the whole ending was a dream of Shepard's, and some dlc later will have the actual ending.

the additional sequence showing Shepard alive in the red ending. You cannot have Shepard alive in the green or blue endings regardless of what you do. Of course the red ending is the renegade one and obliterates the geth as well as EDI and the reapers... I personally wish for a green ending in which Shepard (at some point) reunites with Kaidan... Sigh.
One thing I do not agree with others - the endings are similar the same way all ending in the previous ME games were similar - in ME2 the only difference was the color of the explosion! In ME1 there is no real difference anyway. The lack of epilogue also fits the way the game ends - what epilogue do you want in a universe in which Shepard is dead, there are no mass relays, and most of the crew is dead? My issue with the endings is that they are too depressing Not that they are unrealistic or lacking.

At bare minimum I would of been content with a  Dragon Age Origin's ending that is paragraph reading of what happens to everyone instead of the crap we did get.

I hear you. But I do think they may have something in mind. See the thing is that the game is extremely detailed in everything else. To me the only explanation is that they intentionally made it so and do have something in mind. (I read someone say that Bioware was lazy... and I was WTF dude, are you out of your mind? Did you not just play the game?)
