At the time of the attacks, the security guards were mostly Libyan nationals.  There may have been Diplomatic Security Service personnel there though.

Well, it is, in fact, an act of war.  The thing is that this time, it was pretty clearly a terrorist act, and the Libyan people aren't too happy about it, so declaring war on Libya would be counterproductive.

I hope the director of The Innocence of Muslims gets his cover blown and the next time he's out on the streets there is a no holds barred curb-stomb battle against him by an angry mob. This also includes the actors and actresses who have been deceived into taking part of that film.

Do you know? The misspellings actually brought a tear to my eye. Those guys can clearly hardly speak English- or the person who translated it a dozen times hasn't much English- but they're so determined that we should know they're willing to go that extra effort. Good on those guys.

That's really beautiful. I'm sure his family will be greatly comforted, or at least I hope so.

Also, what an awesome guy. They KNEW WHO HE WAS. An ambassador from a foreign country! They KNEW him and RESPECTED him. What a boss. What an amazing eulogy right there.
