I'm tempted to try SWTOR out despite the overall hatred the internet has for F2P/P2W games.

Anything I should be concerned about?

They keep a DAMN lot behind the paywall.  It's okay, you can get through it on f2p, but it takes longer is much more grindy, and everything costs more.  It's like EA is holding the best parts of the game for ransom.

I think all the classes are available for free. And races are purely cosmetic with no other differences.

"Raids" and PVP battlegrounds are limited once per week or something like that. And you can unlock stuff with payments that once made keep the stuff unlocked permanently. (It's been a while since I played things may have changed again.)

I'm going to disagree with that. You will still get to play the storyline parts for completely free and without the outrageous exp boost you get with money you can actually complete all the missions without being overleveled for half the stuff on each area.

If you want a good space MMO, Star Trek Online is one I recommend.

And in other news. Retailer in UK notified everyone who preordered PS4 through them that they must either order more products with the preorder or they will lose their spot and will not receive the console on release day.

When the story made it to media the company claimed this is nothing out of the ordinary and people some commenters stirring up shit. The authorities (and anyone who knows a thing about law) disagree:

"This appears to be profiteering", a representative from the Trading Standards Institute told CVG. "The seller is raising the price hoping people either drop out or pay more. If they drop out the seller can resell at a higher price to another customer".

And yes, I know these are from Otaku so those who dislike the site can go find the stories from somewhere else if they have too much of an aversion to the site.
