Yeah, it kinda is both.

If the fanboys wouldn't complain, I'd advocate for the addition of the upgrade system to other game modes.

Was playing TF2 a few days ago and was just wrecking this dude.  Completely wrecking him.  And he was mad.  Like I think he only saw the inside of the spawn room he was dying so much.

Ironbite-trolled him so hard because he was so bad.

The last few times I played TF2 I was really disappointed in the other gamers.

But the biggest disappointment so far was in how the Mechwarrior online gaming culture changed when the closed beta ended. Before people had been civil and friendly, once it opened up... Well, the civility lowered considerably.

One time, I greeted the other players and wished them good luck as it had been customary for everyone to do and the replies were insults at me and demands that I should quit the game.

Also griefers appeared around that time... I just can't stand griefers.

Reminds me of Alliance Battles in the first Guild Wars.  The two sides would actually have entire multi-guild alliances specifically to spy on the enemy team and hinder their efforts.  That's some amazingly meta shit, right there.

I actually haven't experienced any real incivility, though I stick to playing MvM. Seriously, Upgrades should be added to other gamemodes.

No Upgrades shouldn't.  Make the game totally unbalanced moreso then it already is.

Ironbite-and when you're stomping all over a team in say Payload, you'll cause a lot of grief.
