I'm having a blast in Inquisition, but the big decisions are nerve-racking because I barely have any context for them.

Fortunately, it all works out. Usually. What decision in question, if you don't mind me asking?

Ye olde Mages vs Templars debate. I think the mages have more of a leg to stand on morality-wise, but the Templars seem more powerful and less likely to cry about not having nice things (from what I can tell a Circle is something of a gilded cage). I just don't want to lock myself out of a romance with Cassandra.

I could never bring myself to side with the Templars.  They're too ham-fisted and hard-nosed to be anywhere near likeable.

I've been fucking hooked on a Let's Play of This War Of Mine... and now I've picked up the game for myself.  I know what I'm doing this weekend!

"Brilliant!"

Yeah, no thanks.

To be fair to the Templars, they're a reaction to the mage rulers of Tevinter, where those who were mages did (and still do, in Tevinter) everything they could to enforce their absolute rulership over the rest of the populace. To the point where blood magic is still common among the highest circles of the Tevinter Magisterium.

Speaking of Templars, Assassin's Creed Rogue was pretty good, even if it isn't nearly as good as Black Flag.

Ah, so that changes it from "magic is a thing and some people might misuse it" to "magic is a thing and people are misusing it". Slightly more sympathetic, though still an invade-Russia-in-December-level bad idea. (At the same time, fuck Tevinter, fuck the entire Imperium, and fuck you, Halward Pavus.)

So, the Cacowards are up and I've decided to load up DemonSteele.

Also, the Hype Train is 1 day and 20 hours from arrival.

Does this not look like the face of a trustworthy man? Say, a man you'd put in charge of...

The man in the picture is clearly Romulan.  If Star Trek has taught me anything, its that Romulans are NOT to be trusted for any reason.

Or, if they actually turn out to be good, they die at the end of the episode.
