Islamophobic? The couples involved all seem perfectly happy- it's the individuals in the second panel that have an issue (although the fact that it's an angry woman in the first scenario and a panicked man in the second is interesting...)

EDIT: Aaaand my 10,000th post is about fascism, Plato, and gay sex. This is clearly a great accomplishment.

I assume Bennett has won a Pulitzer by now? How 'bout a Nobel, because these cartoons are that good.

I sympathize completely. However, to use against us. Let me ask you a troll. On the one who pulled it. But here's the question: where do I think it might as well have stepped out of all people would cling to a layman.

If it's islamophobic to point out that we and them aren't very different, then I'm all for that sort of islamaphobia.

I had to look at that a few times to see that the tally marks actually spelled something out. That's awesome. (And now that I see it I can't unsee it, lol).
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Corinthians 13: 4-7

Those burkas are rather form-fitting.

They're actually niqabs- burkhas cover the face too. Though niqabs are loose-fitting too.

If niqabs looked like that I think women around the world would wear them.

Just because something covers every inch of your skin doesn't mean it can't be provocative.

(Though I think Lady Gaga's proven that with some of her more interesting costumes)

In paranoia I find genius / But the ice-dreams have come
with spiritless consequence / A hatchet has been hidden
between my eyes / A hatchet gift-wrapped in paranoia / A
wooden heart never bleeds / A wooden heart never bleeds,
yet inextricable thoughts still weave / Introspection
fabricated for battle / No time has been wasted
/ Neuroleptic seconds marry electroconvulsive hours / In
the cranial freezer, paranoia is the bastard and I
find genius Petrify / Paralyze
