Researchers at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada have recently cured cancer, yet there is but little ripple in the news or on TV. It is a simple technique using a very basic drug. The method employs dichloroacetate, which is currently used to treat metabolic disorders, so there is no concern of side effects or other long term effects.

The drug doesn’t require a patent, so anyone can employ it widely and cheaply compared to the costly cancer drugs produced by major pharmaceutical companies.
As with all articles of this nature, I'm rather skeptical of whether or not it's true, doubly so since I don't have the best grasp of biology. If it works, great, but if not, I can't say I'll be surprised.

Also, this seems to be making its rounds on my FB feed, so it could become the new fad of the week. We'll see.
Her3tik, you have groupies.
Ego: +5

There are a number of ways, though my favourite is simply to take them by surprise. They're just walking down the street, minding their own business when suddenly, WHACK! Penis to the face.

Here's a Snopes article on the news: http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/cancercure.asp

It seems to be a promising potential treatment, but not the cure that it is being made out to be.
