Political violence in Brazil
« on: January 08, 2023, 07:45:33 pm »
A right-wing candidate loses a national election.

There are allegations of fraudulent voting and unreliable results.

His supporters violently storm government buildings.

Where have we seen this story before?

It doesn't concern you, Sister, that kind of absolutist view of the universe? Right and wrong determined solely by a single all-knowing, all powerful being whose judgment cannot be questioned and in whose name the most horrendous acts can be sanctioned without appeal?

Quote from: Supreme Court of Canada
Being required by someone else’s religious beliefs to behave contrary to one’s sexual identity is degrading and disrespectful.

Difference is his supporters are about a week late at storming the gates, the President called in the army to deal with the stupid fucks, and he's making motions to arrest Bolsonaro's ass up in Florida.

Ironbite-fuckers even went out to greet the army like they were their long lost friends.  It was hilarious.
