I found the bug I've been looking for all week. Like most bugs, it was something utterly banal.
That said, I've stopped trying to anticipate what people around here want a while ago, I've found it makes things smoother.
For I was an hungred, and ye told me to pull myself up by my bootstraps: I was thirsty, and ye demanded payment for the privilege of thine urine: I was a stranger, and ye deported me: naked, and ye arrested me for indecency.

Managed to head off extreme boredom-induced depression by working more on my game.  I don't necessarily feel good, per se, but I certainly feel better.

I managed to get the 2nd chapter of my Harry Potter fanfic, Harry Potter and the Next Great Adventure, written up and posted.  For the curious, you can give it a read here, though it is admittedly short, currently.  It feels to continue working on the same project consistently.

Spent the weekend at Metrocon in Tampa, cosplaying as Harry Dresden. Not only did a surprisingly large amount of people (easily in the two dozen range) recognize me, but the character is so uncommon at conventions that everyone who did see me totally nerded out. People would scream from across the hall or while on escalators, run in for hugs and pictures, and generally squee and literally have their jaws drop at seeing it. I put a lot of effort into the costume, wearing all the jewelry and hand-carving a staff with runes (with appropriate symbols for a Dresden staff, based on the Elder Futhark alphabet and its use in divination), so people were in total geek mode.

I'm glad I got to make so many people happy; one short Tony Stark told me that I made his night. It's going to be a permanent part of my growing cosplay stable, and I'm going to be adding even more detail as time goes on: a SplatterCon t-shirt, business cards to hand out to people who get it, the mid-series shield bracelet and force rings, and a new staff surface with more runes carved in better.
Still can't think of a signature a year later.

My copy of the Ultimate Edition of New Vegas is (according to Amazon, at least) finally in!  After a small, somewhat suspect snafu with them somehow managing to fail in delivering it to my apartment complex's main office while the office was still fucking open and would be for 2 hours after the delivery supposedly failed, this leaves me a (potentially) happy beaver.

I pushed myself really hard while exercising today, to the point where my legs feel as firm (and about as flexible) as pillars.

Moreover, I did this two days ago, as well.

I'm going to mow tomorrow so exercise won't be strictly necessary, but

I plan to do this again the day after that (unless I don't complete my mowing tomorrow - though I plan to do so)

And the rest of the days after that.

Also need to do some arm exercise...

Yeah, they're part of the Busch Gardens Tampa summer concert series this year. Free with park admission.

Makes up for the last time they played in Orlando, when all the ticket scalpers bought up almost every seat on the first day of sale to sell for several times the list price.
