My point did not hinge on it being true. My point hinged on the fact that if you spell a name a certain way that isn't the norm, you shouldn't expect people to instantly know how to pronounce it. You might want to, and it might be frustrating, but it isn't someone else's fault. Unless they purposely don't wish to pronounce it correctly. Then they're an asshole.
