Ok so it's agreed.  Material Defender's an idiot.

Ironbite-moving on.

Yes, I'm an idiot because I made a false assumption from a false premise once, which I elaborated and understood it was false after being explained more clearly.

Some pretty stringent terms there, iron.

The material needs a defender more than the spiritual. If there is a higher power, it can defend itself from the material. Thus denotes 'higher power'.

...Okay, Ironbite, that was very uncalled for.

Born and raised (unfortunately) in AR, and I've never heard "eating crow" before now.  I always just heard "getting what they deserve."

I interpreted it as Jim Crow laws.

A lot of people have never watched the TV edit of Outlaw Star either, apparently.  I know that "eating crow" was used in the TV edit of one episode.  (In the uncensored DVD, the phrase is "eating shit.")

I watched the TV edit of Outlaw Star, but I don't remember that particular line.  Then again, that was for-fucking-ever ago, when it was on Toonami.

I'm Australian and I have heard of eating crow. And it's called soft-drink.

You people and your odd euphemisms.  I just call it by its brand name.  If its Coke, its Coke, and if its Dr. Pepper, its Dr. Pepper.

What? You move around a lot but still had it ingrained as soda?

Oregonian all my life- Never heard the phrase "eating crow" out loud, but I've seen in it writing a few times, enough to be familiar with it.

And I haven't called it "pop" in years.

Huh... I live in Washington and I call it soda or "seltzer," depending on what I'm drinking. I've never called it "pop."

When I was little I used to call it "bubble-water."
