Totally unrelated but it's kind of weird that Dr. Slut Shamer looks like Blaine from Pokémon Red.

I came up with this signature all by myself.

On the flip side of brevity of political cartoons, an amusing short story is good as well.

That brings up a good point, though. What will the next wedge issue be?

Personally, I'm thinking transgender issues, considering they're shadowing gay issues now just like gay issues were previously shadowing racial issues.

Of course, abortion isn't going away any time soon either.

I think there are three possibilities:
1. Operation "Woo the Latinos" works, and the GOP gains a new power base, relying on its usual platform.
2. The GOP doesn't change its policies, or the Latinos continue to vote Democrat, ushering in an era of Democratic dominance.
3. The GOP bites the bullet and jettisons its social conservatives, focusing solely on reducing the size of government. GOP remains a viable party, although some social conservatives either flock to a fringe party or start a new one.

The thing with trans issues is even the LGB part of the spectrum barely know what being trans is unless they're shown the idea some way, some how.

Where I live, you're either a really deep drag queen or you're ultra gay, in fact, if you're trans. It sucks, but it's true.

Some talk show, years back (Tyra maybe?), did an episode on the LGBT spectrum and how we relate to each other.  Trans issues were treated as "belonging" to the community, while bisexual issues were not. The bisexuals were shunned on the stereotypes of "You're a straight girl trying to show off for guys/You're a gay man with one foot in the closet."

It would be interesting to know if this is a geographical phenomenon.
