Nothing will come of this until they start handing out proper sanctions such as really big fines and tournament bans. The black England players that were subjected to monkey chants, neo-nazi salutes and thrown objects in Serbia didn't get justice even when it happened in front of a huge television audience. One of the affected players even got charged themselves when they shouted back.
When the English game had its problems with hooliganism back in the 70s and 80s they banned English teams from competing in Europe and the issue is now almost non-existent. All these worthy ,stop racism, campaigns are useless without teeth.
Well, they only really banned them after the Heysel disaster, and even then English teams didn't really clean up their act until Hillsborough a few years later. (If Hillsborough had one good side effect, it was the rescheduling of the Liverpool-Arsenal game at Anfield that year that ended up being a
de facto championship. After Thomas scored the season-winning goal, the Liverpool fans cheered along with the Arsenal fans.)
Another thing that needs to be banned is home fans camping outside a visiting team's hotel and making tons of noise the night before a game. Central American nations are notorious for this in CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers. (3-0 awarded victories for that shit ought to put a stop to it really fast.)
