So, I may be on national television in the upcoming future. I kind of ended up having a deep and detailed conversation with a woman only to find out she is putting together a reality show that looks like it will air on TLC. So, yeah, pretty cool.

I also wound up being interviewed for a local lesbian magazine. Also, pretty cool.

That is super exciting Queen!

A shipment of sheet moss I got for the shady part of my garden came today, but it's raining like crazy, so I get to blow off installing it (it'll be fine as it was packed to survive).

My whole day yesterday was spent solving one small crises after another with several of my elderly neighbors having minor water seepage into their back doors from all the rain...I was the wet/dry shop vac heroine!

Went to a friend's birthday dinner at a sushi restaurant. Declined any cocktails (since they were goddamn $9), but it was nice to see people I've barely or never interacted with since high school and show how I've changed.

Got this awesome new wallet at Wall-World!

It didn't have a price tag on it, so I wasn't sure I was going to get it until I saw a price. And since it's a licensed character, I expected it to be at least $10. But the guy at the till clearly didn't want to bother getting a manager or looking up the price or anything, so instead he just scanned the previous item a second time and called it even. What did he scan? An eighty-cent packet of key tags.

I'm looking up the same wallet now online (for some reason, Wal Mart doesn't have it on their website), and they keep showing it for $12 - $20. So basically I got a freaking $20 wallet for less than a dollar thanks to a very lazy cashier at Wally World. Heeee! ^_^
