Had an epic airsoft event today based on the Fallout games. It lasted for 7 hours and there's more story than I could ever fit in one post. But to make a long story short, I:
* Started as a random wastelander.
* Got captured and initiated into the Rasta Raiders after dueling their lieutenant to a draw in The Pit.
* Helped broker a deal with some independent raiders to betray the US Marshals they were working with and work for the Rastas as drug runners and slavers.
* Made a ridiculous amount of caps, including one job that landed us 80 caps with no effort (if you've never seen a pile of 80 bottle caps, you have no clue how hard that shit is to carry; imagine cupping your hands together and filling them with caps until they're spilling out, multiplied by 2)
* Spied on the TreeBeard Commune leader sending bounty hunters against the Rastas and reported it,which resulted in a combined force of the Rasta Raiders, Talon Company mercenaries, and independent raiders and slavers capturing the largest town in the game in a preemptive strike and completely changing the course of the game. Oops.
* Fought through ambushes and betrayal to haul a bin for nearly half a mile from the Rasta base back to the captured town....where the Rastas revealed that they had two sets of power armor painted in their garish colors.
It was a good game.
