I just got word that I passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination, a pre-req to being a lawyer. In fact, my score was good enough to qualify me to practice in any state in the nation, should I so choose to take that state's bar.

averaging at 2cm, with two (the middle ones) a solid 3.5. thing's old. a legacy item from my best friend's deceased dad. kinda threadbare, now. still, he saw the first rehearsal of my band, and he's been our watcher ever since. because we were very young, we just call him "blaireau", or badger. we like putting silly hats on him. i'll try and post a photo so you can see his sorry state (and silly hat).

Found the in-laws' 45 collection and am cataloguing it. There's well over 100 records here, including a half-dozen book-and-recording sets.

And that's just the 45s.  There are a shit-ton of 33 RPM records, and I'm eventually going to catalog all of THOSE too.

Most of what I've gone through is fairly recent stuff from the 60s and 70s, but there's some RCA Red Seal records, which have to be fucking ancient.  I'm going to Google for dates on the older ones (because they don't have copyright dates on the record itself) after I've finished typing my fingers off here.

OK, wow.  There were a shitton of 60s and 70s singles, which didn't surprise me, but the 2 RCA Bluebird Childrens Records did (production years 1936-early 50's).  I'm also confused about the Red Seals--Wikipedia says they should be a red label on black shellac, but the records are red and translucent.  I've never seen a record like that before.

actually, no. you've never posted roughly where you lived, and i never bothered to check your location on your profile. truth be told, you're one of the few i can't locate semi-precisely on this forum. going out on a limb, judging by your post, i'll hazard a guess by saying downtown d.c., in which case i'll ask the question: are you a masochist?

i used to live in fairfax county, but i feared he actually lived in downtown d.c., you know, where they made intersections at 25° angles to align with the cosmic perfection of XVIIth century secret societies. i remember my dad driving me around, and even as a pre-teen, it seemed excessively overcomplicated and grid-locked.
