Fantasy author and creator of the Discworld series Sir Terry Pratchett has died at home aged 66, having had Alzheimer's disease for eight years.
"The world has lost one of its brightest, sharpest minds," said Larry Finlay of his publishers Transworld.
The author died "with his cat sleeping on his bed, surrounded by his family", he added.

Damn, now that's a celebrity death that I actually care about. He was a great writer, and Diskworld is and probably will always be one of my favourite series.
