These dorks, like Empress Nicki said,  totally ignore "Dubya The Cokeheaded Lush". Compared to that, a puff of cannabis is nothing! Obama was just a regular youth of the 70's. Better a highly intelligent, youthful, cool, worldly guy than a stodgy dork.

R. Crumb, HOOBOY! I never knew what to make of him (other than weird man from an even weirder family that draws really weird & gross cartoons). Doe's he really believe the bigoted stuff he drew, is it irony or is he really a hateful bigot? I'd hear about how "counterculture" he was. However, I also read that he loathed the hippies & youth culture that read his stuff.




As horrid as it is, the comic does seem to be a regurgitation of the most cliche tropes. Perhaps this is a satire. Crumb was an atheist with a very dim view of religion & this comic is supposedly extolling "Christian Morals/Values". That's a red flag, right there. He was also pretty anti-establishment. I think this is a satire rather than genuine hate speech. I think his "Ethnicist/Sexist/Bigoted" stuff was a rather edgy Stealth Parody.
