Yeah, but have fun with the electric bill. The latest LED bulbs might be a bit more expensive but the last longer and are more efficient both in terms of electricity and money. There are a few things like heating lamps that require traits specific to an incandescent bulb, but otherwise I don't know why you'd prefer them over other options. I'm not fond of those spiral bulbs cause of the mercury the have in them, so I'd advise you be careful not to break them.
Is it really your choice or the power company's? I'd prefer more efficient and renewable resources for general power creation. Perhaps harness the methane in cow shit. I'd save the coal for stuff like cool old steam tractors or whatever.
