Not really "political" but I'm posting it here anyway. This is from some Christian modesty booklet. So if you don't act like it's the 19th century and dress in your grandmother's curtains then you're not lady like. I also like how the first rule is essentially "no fat chicks."

a) "Becoming cheap?" "Unchastity?" You can tell this was written by a prude, most people who complain about women would have just called slut-shaming what it is.
b) If a woman has an "ungainly walk" they probably have some sort of health issue (Same goes with "Raspy, gravelly voice.")
c) "Ready smile?" So women are supposed to smile all the time? Going straight for the "Stepford smile" I see. (CREEEEEPY)

The art style and clothes seem newer than 19th century (was going to say last century... Still not used to living in the 21st.) could 1960's or something like that.

My mom made me go to etiquette and deportment classes after school for a year when I turned 11. Mind you, I'm cis lesbian, and was very happy as a tomboy, climbing trees and playing tennis and building crossbows and other fun crazy shit in my spare time. This femininity training sheet looks a lot like what I remember having to study back in 1971. Judging from the "bad example" girl's clothes, maybe this one dates from 1959 to 1965. After I passed the class - which I hated beyond all you can imagine - my mom signed me up for Cotillion ball room dancing. I hated my childhood at times....
