So yesterday on my way to work, I bummed into Cracked's Michael Swaim in front of the Rose Quarter. I sent him a Tweet about it, and he just responded by saying he's read my blog, calling me an excellent writer, and telling me to keep it up. I'M FUCKING DYING OF JOY.

Watched an argument between two neo-nazi groups that were fighting about whether the Nordic or Slavic side was better.

Really big boost to my day seeing that for some reason. I think I'm just addicted to watching idiot groups implode.

My parrot learned to keep a tempo to a song without me helping him.
Whenever he hears a song with a catchy beat, I click my tongue to the tempo. He learned to imitate the clicking sound somehow and copy my tempo. At first he would keep the tempo for 10 seconds and then gradually speed up and get lost, start over, then repeat. After a few tries he usually get frustrated and walks away (You can tell by his face and coos he's thinking "You know what? Fuck it! I can't do this shit").
Today I played a song without clicking for him and he did it by himself. He clicked to the beat exactly until he got tired.

The song was the theme song from "GTA 4: Ballad of Gay Tony" by the way.

The gomashioo furikake I ordered from a Japanese Ebay seller arrived today.  Not only was it a bit bigger than I'd expected, the seller also threw in an art postcard and a little "Thanks for buying"-type letter in Engrish.

It was the cutest thing.
