I'm going in for a few hours every day this week to help out with some of my mom's work. Getting myself $200 for it.

Not technically today, but this last weekend I went to GenCon and had a blast.

--Met up with a friend I only get to talk to online for the rest of the year.

--Spent way too much money on Ars Magica, Dungeons and Dragons, and Star Wars Saga Edition books.  Got the new 13th Age core book, designed by guys who designed two out of the three previous, and it looks awesome.

--Had Andrew Huerta sign issues of the Pathfinder comic (the ones he drew).

--Got a Doctor Who 4th Doctor scarf like I've wanted for decades.

Next year's gonna have a hard time topping this.

Finally got my tooth pulled. My jaw is slightly swollen and a bit tender, but it feels about a zillion times better than it did this morning. Plus, I got to keep the tooth, which is so gnarly and awesome looking. I'm tempted to post pictures of it in the disturbing images thread.

No, he's annoyingly conservative but he knows when to shut up. Plus, he's raising his son in a religion-neutral house, so mad props for that.

I'll post some tomorrow. The tooth had to be bisected in order to remove it, so I can even post some cross-section pics. It's actually pretty neat.

That would be awesome. My dad's a dentist and growing up, I would often hear him talking to my mom about notable cases he's worked on, so I've always been interested in teeth.
