"Old Media" and "New Media" bothers me. At some point, New Media's going to stop being new (if it hasn't already), and yet somehow no-one ever looked at Nu Metal, New Labour, New Coke, the New Wave of Science Fiction or the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and realised how stupid it is to append "new" to something that's supposed to last. Not to mention that, in
zeerust-y fashion, there's something especially aged about the examples I just mentioned.
