I got Alien Isolation for Christmas.  Despite its average score, I'm actually enjoying it.  It's quite a thrill to watch the alien move around, appearing at random, searching room to room.  And it's even more so, when you're walking down a hallway with nothing to hide behind, under, etc., and your motion detector starts blaring!

Only average, from my perspective it got near perfect reviews. That game was fucking terrifying, havnt been that scared since Amnesia.

They did an awesome job building the tension at the beginning.  Walking from room to room, and seeing, "Hold A to hide," over and over, even though nothing has shown up yet.

I must compliment Borderlands 2 for it's ability to make me want to kill the ever-loving shit out of Jack. Son of bitch didn't die screaming, but close enough with a SWORDSPOLSION blast to the face.

Handsome Jack is amazing. He is a refreshingly different villain and a great character and helped make the story interesting.

Butt Stallion just makes that game.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

Playing Hitman: Blood Money with all of the graphics maxed out and still enough frames left over for silky smooth gameplay. Yeah, I know, it's an old game, but it still feels fucking fantastic to play something post 2003 on PC at more than 20 frames per second. I'm so happy I could ride a pig.

Bought Etrian Odyssey Untold and shovel knight. Then my 3ds broke.

Lovely.

One of my favorite Hitman games.  Such stress relief to stroll through a neighborhood calmly slicing terrified people to pieces while dressed as a clown.

Playing through Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, and I have to say, while fun, the third labyrinth, the evil spirit club, is brutal. The enemies wil hit you with Wind Corrosion (makes you weak to wind attacks) and follow up with Magarula (fairly strong wind attack). And when someone hits with an attack that's someone's weak to, they get to go first next turn. Yeah.

Oh yeah, it's great. Easier than the other Hitmans, though still decently challenging if you go for silent assassin plus no additional costs on every mission. Not to mention, there's something absolutely poetic about having your target killed in an opera rehearsal by switching his prop pistol with a real one. It's a thing of beauty.

My favorites were all=sniper runs and all-accident runs.  The accidents require some tricks and a bit of luck but are satisfying.

Someone mentioned Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri so I was forced to reinstall it.

EDIT: The latest images from the next Final Fantasy game had a scantily clad male character and male fans all over the world are now furious. That "armour" has been built to be revealing rather than protective and is only fetish material which obviously has outraged people.

...No, this is not an april fools joke.

"This male sexualisation is wrong."

Also note the person saying [a costume like this] "...looked "fine" on a girl. Some costume just isn't meant to be worn by a male, no matter how pretty his face is."

[Insert sounds of exploding irony and/or hypocrisy detectors all over the world.]
