Seems like a bad design from the start.  I'd make it to where the wings DO contact the tabletop.   Why they thought that was a working design, I've no idea.
The more contact you have, the more stability.
So if you can mold some of that putty stuff to contact points atop the wings I'd do it, mate.

The problem is that the table comes in two pieces; the dragon and the glass tabletop.  That metal part it was glued to that I mention?  That was part of the tabletop.  You attached it to the dragon by screwing it on, hence why it isn't attached to the wings.  They probably should have found a different way to attach the top to the dragon so it could have more contact points.

Could you not still, even with the way it is, somehow attach it more permanently?  Starting with its original center point, then molding up the putty on the tops of the wings to harden against the glass? 
I'm not sure how strong that mighty putty stuff is, though.  The only way I could be 100% sure what to do, is if it was my table.  I'm kinda hesitant to tell you to do anything that would permanently mar it.
EDIT: If it were mine, I'd be pondering getting out a drill and a glass-cutting bit.

Every class I need is full, wait lists of 20+ students, and has been since they opened registrations way back in freaking June. No school for me this fall, I guess.  >:(

I've had ADHD since early elementary school (or was diagnosed with it, at any rate), and I knew back then to not do that shit.  Still do, as a matter of fact.

That's what I thought. My mum thinks he can't help it because of his ADHD, but I think a lot of it is just him being a brat and knowing he can get away with stuff. It's not just the running off either. He wasn't sorry at all. My mum tried to explain why he couldn't just run off and he just got all moody and ignored her. He didn't even apologise.

I think my mum feels guilty because she was coming off methadone when she became pregnant with him. Also, his father was a really bad influence, which hasn't helped with his behaviour at all. Luckily his dad isn't around any more, but I think it still affects him.

But yeah, she needs to be stricter with him.

Heh, I'm glad you didn't bite my head off over that. I've had it happen. I just tend to be rather upfront and truthful. But yeah there's a difference between a bad parent and bad parenting, you know? And that is where people usually get confused.

I'm sure she could get over her guilt and maybe take a good parenting class to try to curb his behavior. And she should look into a behavioral specialist for the munchkin as well.

I was in school before all this over-diagnosing of these alphabet disorders came up.  Hell, if I was in school now, I shudder to think what they'd have labeled me with.  I'd have a bloody list, I bet.
