Jar Jar didn't quit his elected post after half a term.

Final Countdown is awesome. I also like Take on Me.

1. One of the best Jar Jar/Sarah Palin comments ever made

2. Take On Me is a great song, and the video is still one of the best videos ever.

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot.

They're very simply written and quick reads, but I can't tell you how much having them made my high school experience bearable.

Kind of took a while to think of one, but I love the movie But I'm a Cheerleader.

Another one that may make me stick out here is that I enjoy Bill Maher.

I love Bill Maher, and I don't even feel guilty about it.

When he's not talking about vaccines, Maher's not too bad.

That said, I like Cheaters and Jerry Springer. I'm just a sucker for trainwreck syndrome.

1. But I'm a Cheerleader isn't that bad of a movie

2. I like Bill Maher, but I disagree with him on some things like vaccines, and the Israel asskissing. Also I find him to come off as somewhat of a "liberal elitist" that rubs me the wrong way, sometimes.

I think people are too hard on Bill about vaccines. He isn't really anti-vaccine. He just thinks ones for chicken pox and the flu for healthy people are unnecessary.

They're not necessary for the health of the healthy people. They're necessary to maintain herd immunity, which protects the people who are too old or young to get the vaccine, and people with immune disorders.

That being said, Religulous is a guilty pleasure of mine.

True, but people sometimes react like he's one of those "vaccines cause autism and they poison our children" idiots.

Yeah, I didn't know if it would be well received here, but my University's LGBT group strongly dislikes the film. They say it is shallow and plays into gay stereotypes. I on the other hand saw the stereotypes as a satire of stereotyping (for example the butch-looking girl with the shaved head says she's straight, and RuPaul's character, a self admitted "ex-gay" says "who does she think she's fooling.") I also found the story of Megan and Graham falling in love very believable (compared to Final Fantasy 10 with Tidus and Yuna feeling so unnatural) and the love scenes of their first kiss, first sexual encounter, and when they run away to be very romantic and tender. I often end up crying when I watch them. But my University's LGBT group can have a "holier-than-thou" mentality, so I'm glad other people out there like the film  :).

Strike Witches and High School of The Dead. loaded to the breaking point with fanservice, yet awesome action shows despite that and hilarious comedies, often because of it.

Cheesy horror films with both Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing in them.
