I'm of two minds on this. On one hand, this seems like the kind of thing you'd like to have, even if you don't need it. On the other, I have a niggling feeling somebody's making big money from this.

Most likely. And I question how safe they're going to be in Canada, since at least theoretically they've got protection in the US that they don't have elsewhere.
But at the same time, I think that it's probably smart to have a secure backup SOMEWHERE, preferably in secret. I wonder if Elon Musk or someone could be convinced to fund a global information backup somewhere?
