I'm really not sure where to put this, like, at all, but I saw it, and I couldn't help but want to comment. Sue me if you don't agree. I have 7 proxi-- lawyers. Lawyers.

Have you ever actually looked at the Libyan flag?



It's green. That's it, just green. How... how do you make a flag that looks like this?

Then midway through typing this, I realize that it's not even Libya's flag anymore... fuck it, still posting it. It's 4:30 AM and I'm buzzed, I cannot be held responsible.

I also suspect alcohol and trying to come up with a socialist "Colour" was involved, given Red is communist (I guess).

Green is the colour of Islam because according to the Hadith it was the Prophet's favourite colour. Although there is a suggestion that Islam adopted green as part of co-opting aspects of Zorastriansim and non-zorastrian (Mihr) Iranian culture.
