Remember back in 2003 when Natalie Maines denounced the impending invasion of Iraq and said she was ashamed that George W. Bush was President of the United States?

Remember how you didn't hear anything about (as they were then known) The Dixie Chicks for years afterward?

Conservative cancel culture.

Here's one: https://archive.is/XA31G

Considering how conservatives love hiding behind free speech, they were being hypocritical here: https://www.salon.com/2012/11/13/jason_biggss_vulgar_tweets/

Here is someone on the farms whining that sjws clearly forced someone to apologize for an offensive joke..but gives no evidence: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/juan-ortiz-somecallmejohnny-the-supergamingbros.58968/post-5078744

""So you said something a fuckton of years ago that now we find offensive? bend the knee and ask for our forgiveness or perish."

Pretty much the whole LGBT\SJW community in general, fucking hell they're annoying. they're killing everything they can, the gaming industry is fucked, the movie industry is fucked beyond repair, the music industry is... fucking hell, does it exists anymore? You can't say or do shit without having these ones crying for a protest, because they're bored out of their mind since they have no life, and since they can't be happy, then nobody can.
I wish people would've silenced them back when they started being annoying instead of falsely agreeing."

I wonder why it is so important to see jokes as having no harm: https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2016-38182-001

And they have no irony over their own behavior in demanding apologies from people they don't like: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/List_of_Gamergate_claims#Gamergate_is_tolerant

This view that they were "forced" denies people making apologies any agency. Like they can't be refkective? And this assumes that there was nothing wrong with any joke in the first place, which they usually never bother justifying.

Oh and from that threads OP:"Of course the troon starts sperging asap. It would've been weird hearing some decent arguments from them. Also, isn't it ironic that he RTd a ResetEra thread?"

Right because discussing how problematic having a trans person not go through transitioning is "good" isn't rational?

Science and Technology / Is being trans an intersex condition?

Whenever I bring this up to show that sex and gender are bimodal, I get told:

"Your position is that biological sex is not determined by X-Y chromosome make up because in rare instances of genetic malfunction sex can be indeterminate regardless."

"Linking to studies of genetic anomalies as proof of intersex being a third sex or whatever your goal is isn't helping your case"

"Linking to studies of genetic anomalies as proof of intersex being a third sex or whatever your goal is isn't helping your case"

& when asking how these are disorders:
"Because of the negative side effects that come along with the genetic malfunction. It's not a miracle when someone is born who fits into your weird degenerate fantasies. It's a tragedy as evidenced by Fraser Syndrome life expectancy you sick twisted nonce sack of animal refuse."

&
"Except the part where the condition leads to life expectancy being under a year?

Ghoul."

First off these guys only focuses on Fraiser syndrome and not anything else: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2658794/

Ignoring all the other intersex conditions: https://bmcmedethics.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12910-020-00550-x
https://attitude.co.uk/article/its-not-surgery-its-mutilation-why-its-time-to-ban-forced-medical-procedures-on-intersex-kids/23586/

Their response:
"List your other examples and we'll explore the negative side effects that result from a genetic malfunction for each individual condition if you like. We'll start with non-viable reproductive capacity for all reproductive organs. (the entire world wishes this was your problem)"

Ignoring the fact that many intersex people are upset over invasive surgeries which are found to be unnecessary:

It also draws into question how what we call "biological sex" depends on certain factors going into a certain direction: https://static.scientificamerican.com/sciam/cache/file/164FE5CE-FBA6-493F-B9EA84B04830354E_source.jpg

Are homosexual natures created by nurture, nature, or God?

I think the answer is is quite important as it would show us the cause/source of homosexuality.

If God, as believers think, then why is God creating gays?

Regards
DL

Nature and nonshared environment, most things like that are. Probably not a big effect from nurture, definitely no effect from God.

Nature.

There's a trait that when someone gets pregnant with many sons in succession, the younger ones are more likely to be homosexual. This is evolutionarily advantageous (keeping in mind that we evolved in small hunter-gatherer tribes) since it increases the resource-production capacity of the tribe without adding to its population in the next generation, which keeps the tribe small enough to be able to gather the resources it needs, making sure that there are not too many people who are either too young or too old to take part in hunting or foraging.

This doesn't explain all facets of sexual orientation (for instance, I don't know if something similar happens with multiple daughters) but it is selected for by evolution, since those tribes are more likely to survive.

Thanks, small mind.
