Oh gods, why did you have to make this thread? I swear I'm going to live here now... >_>
Soul Cycle. Instrumental metal, that I've got to say, is blowing my fucking mind right now. Both of their albums are up for "free" (name your price) on their
Bandcamp page, and they are phenomenal. There is not one track on either album that I don't absolutely love.
Lithium Dawn. Love this album (found it last week), because it's a cross between Tool & Mastodon, and concept albums are amazing. Again, loving every single track from their debut 'Aion', a story about an immortal man who loses everything and everyone he loves in nuclear war, and what happens as his life goes on from that point. Also available for free from their
Bandcamp page (actual free, not just 'be a cheapskate if you want/are broke).
Shades of Black. More instrumetal, this time from a brilliant kid who really knows his shit. It's an awesome blend of in-your-face heavy and Arabic scales that the western world needs to hear more of. No Bandcamp page for this guy, though he still has his current albums available for free through
Facebook, and is currently finishing up a new album that should be available around June/July (just in time for my birthday
).
Corelia. San Diego metal (gods there isn't enough of this...). Not free, unfortunately, but still really good. And if anyone is wondering, yes, the name is a reference to Han Solo's home planet. Bonus nerd points!
Aaaaaaannd... I need to stop myself or this post will turn in to even more of a tl;dr than it already is.
