Imagine what it would be like if our media really WAS liberal

A standard far-right accusation talking point is that the media is dominated by leftist liberals.  Imagine if it really was--perhaps they would be discussing these things openly:

unfortunatly I've spoke.. ok argued with many conservatives who believe there is a liberal media.

they point to a few liberals and use false balance.  They use equivocation.

They just don't care.  The tea party narrative doesn't work if there isn't an uber liberal socialist agenda conspiracy.

I've had people argue that CNN is liberal.

Yeah... that made my head hurt, too.

Instead of liberal media people could just listen to NPR.  I do and heard of everything on that list.

Apart from the usual political stuff, a truly-Liberal media wouldn't treat nudity & blatant sex like some weird eldritch thing (Janet & Justin's Super Bowl Boobie Shuffle would've been a non-issue). Swearing wouldn't be bleeped out & condom commercials would be all over the place in the same fashion as ads for "male enhancement", diapers, feminine hygiene products & hemorrhoid cream (and nobody would care).

And no "Network Decay" for education-based cable stations like Discovery or The History. They would stick with real, proven science & history, not sensationalism, doomsday garbage or phony documentaries passed off as real.

NPR is definitely one of my main news sources for a good reason.

I like NPR, too. They're awesome. The fact that the GOP wanted to hinder it (along with PBS) shows the awesomeness.
