Define "are"
An are (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hectare#Are) is a unit equal to the area of a square such that all sides have the length light travels in a vacuum in (10/299 792 458) seconds.

Thanks guys.
A shame that modernization is killing the mainstream religions.
Many of these places are quiet from lack of apologists for religions.

I still drop in occasionally but nowhere near often enough :(

I just came back here because I was ill for a long time. I'm better than I was when I left so that's encouraging. It doesn't look like anyone that I chatted with are around either.
like Bob J. , Pyro, and more of course. so I have been hanging in the forum they created for me back in 2017 (I think) hoping that someone would surprise me there LOL
I am a Christian, though Apostolic rather that any of the larger religions. My husband and I have been members for 11 years, and are the only Caucasians in the church. the rest are all Jamaican-Canadians. I recommend Apostolic to anyone who is bored with church. I have found the beliefs and sermons to be outstanding - which is why I joined the church.
I have a testimony about Faith that I've not put online yet, as I feel it is up to the Lord when I should post it and so that is what I am waiting for. But one testimony is that I was not rained on for at least 5 years. lots more to that story, but it's already here somewhere in "conversations with Sharon_at_home".
I always enjoy discussions with Atheists, and my brother was Gnostic and I respected him very much so I actually talked to him about it ... oooo way too long to remember I think. He's been gone since 2010 - a couple of months after we joined the church, and a couple of months before we were baptized in the Apostolic church way of baptizing Adults and blessing children as Jesus did in the bible.
I never had a religion before I joined this church, although I went to a couple of other churches at times when I needed guidance. none of them ever 'fit' me until I went to this one. it felt like home to both of us, surprisingly as my husband had sworn off religions when he was old enough to remove himself from the Catholic Church, 50 odd years ago. I didn't know anything about Jesus or Salvation or anything but the commercial stuff around Christmas, so I've been learning a lot since I joined my church. actually, I was brought to the church. I met some of the members playing soccer and ended up taking photographs of them for about 8 or 9 years. It was the church that they went to that we joined.
So come and chat, anyone ! I miss it a lot. I'm not on for long times so don't worry if I don't get back quickly please!
everyone welcome!! heck everyone wanted hahaha

Always happy to talk to the religious Sharon.
-
I think Religious Sharon has changed since she's been ill, and then the pandemic and I can't get a mask I freak out with them. so I've been home since the first lockdown.
I'd be happy to discuss whatever topic you want, I might not know about it, in which case I'd like to be taught. ;D :-[ ???
Then again, maybe my friends just changed their names. maybe they will PM me when they realize that I'm back...
God Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Fingers crossed Sharon.

Personally, I think the forum went downhill after Jacob Harrison (who I'm not, for the record) was banned.
On an unrelated note, never trust Art Vandelay.

If this is what I think it is, then...

The real question is whether JH in every iteration was Sgt Snoodles.
-
i'll be a more active member now that i got around to logging in again.
-
I check in every so often. Because it's been so quiet and there's little I feel I can add, I usually don't post. It's good to see that the forums are getting a bit more active.

Do you have a pet peeve?
For or against religion perhaps?

Oh hey...my log in still works.
I had to blow a lot of dust off however.
I've been more active on the main site, but I check in here every once in a while.

I have questions.
How much is a gram of crack?
How many grams do you smoke a day?
-
Less than a kilo, but more than a milligram. What can I say? CRACK is delicious.
-
You still smoke less than Gnostic Christian Ravy
-
True, but I do my best!
-
I haven't checked in for quite some time, but came across the bookmark in my browser and thought I'd pop in. Damn, looks like everybody left and forgot to turn out the lights.
-
Some of us still haunt this place to this day. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
-
The site was down for ages.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanuka motherfuckers.

I'm not saying you can all thank god for me like you fuckers do for James Stephanie Fucking Sterling Son, but...yeah. I'm taking credit for telling folks, even if Krad was the one the refreshed the certificate.
[In all honesty, there should be an automated tool for that kinda thing...]

blessed be the name ravy, the true savior of the forums.

Yes all hail Ravy, resurrecting the comatose forum

I am, of course, still highly active. It just takes me about 8 years to workshop a comment before it's finally ready to post.

Makes sense to me, you wouldn't want to drop something like this post without being entirely, completely sure it's up to par.

I have a very high standard of posting I have to maintain of course, that's what makes me The Main Attraction of FSTDT. I even prepare replies years in advance based on my predictions of how people will respond - there's only the slightest risk that I make the wrong prediction.
With regards to your second question - no, I am not wearing any at all.
-
I must say I am disappointed about the absence of nipple clamps.
