Foster Friess - Moron

Foster Friess, who's given Santorum a great deal of support during his campaign by creating the Red, White and Blue Fund, has insisted that people are getting too worked up over the candidate's personal objection to birth control.

"This contraception thing, my gosh it's so inexpensive. Back in my day they used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives, the gals put it between their knees and it wasn't that costly." Friess is presumably saying all women who didn't want to become pregnant were abstinent and thus had no need for birth control.

I don't know how serious he's trying to be with that statement, but it irks the hell out of me. Assuming he's joking and ignoring this little graph taken from here...



...frankly, I don't think it's an issue to be taken lightly. Although Santorum has insisted he supports a person's choice to use contraceptives, when he says, "It's not okay because it's a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be," I can't take that original claim seriously.

This is bs,I have a collection of old Pulp magzines from the 1930s and there are some mail-order condom ads in them, it doesn't say it directly, since it was somewhat illegal in many states, but it isn't hard to know what their talking about.
