I hate putting light switch and electrical socket face plates back on after taking them off to paint. Damn hard to get them to sit right again and to line up the screw holes.

So some asshole on my newsfeed decided to post this pic:

and I told them that it was altered, and they're response was to laugh about and say that I was being PC. No, I'm not being PC, I'm just telling you that it's been altered. Never said anything about you shouldn't post it, though you do look like an asshole doing so.

An annoyance twofer.

I so hate the term reverse racism. There's no such thing as reverse racism.

The other thing annoying me is that the previous owners of this converted some of the trim to latex based paint, but some is still oil based. I don't have a good enough eye to tell what have been switched over to latex. So I have to paint everything in latex, then once it's dry, see where it's not sticking well. If it isn't sticking well that means the new coat is on oil based paint. Which means I have to remove the latex paint, put on a special primer, and then repaint with latex paint. This is going to be a blast.

Also given the age of my house, I just like to pretend there's not layer upon layer of lead based paint in here. And not worry about the asbestos tiling in the basement(at least that hasn't cracked).

It's more annoying that it takes a full year for those shows to be released on DVD/Blu-Ray. Because I don't get HBO I'm always a year behind the show. And why can't HBO Go be a pay service for everyone, and not just a benefit to HBO subscribers?

Im not allowed to have a stoic face when mum insults me, its easy enough to pretend to be offended. But now if mum and lui are talking about me, im not allowed to not be offended if im called useless or a waste of space or whatever. Its getting really fucking hard to distinguish conversations im not allowed to listen in on and ones that i have to listen in on
