Sometimes I dream I really have to go to the bathroom, but every bathroom and every stall I find is all nasty/gross/Silent Hillish.
This dream usually corresponds to me having to take a piss in the waking world.

I apparently texted myself the following early this morning so I wouldn't forget the dream I had:

"Dream about guy outside house, we call 911 and are told to berate ourselves. Turns out he just wanted to do variables with Deimos."
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

Two dreams. One last night, with downer content but emotionally decidedly neutral in nature... the other from a week ago, horrific in nature.

1. I want to go to an Olympic swim competition. I don't have the money I need to get there. Somehow, I manage to make most of what I need materialize. I have to drive to Canada. The drive is long. I get hundreds of miles from home when I realize I have to get my goggles. I go all the way back to get them. They don't fit anymore. I cry, my dreams ruined, and sulk around my old apartment's game room. Play table soccer in a depressed, slow fashion. Someone brings up the swim thing and I yell at them. I leave the room into a large band practice room and pick up my old trombone, listening to my old director. ~FIN~

2. I'm in my old high school, the shittier one. People are talking about the stories of disappearing young men. Who are these men? I don't know. The implication is they're young. Suddenly, cut to a scene... I'm not there. A young man wakes up in a pink dress and wig, his bed soaked in blood. He screams at the top of his lungs as he realizes what's happened. I don't see it, but I know he's had his genitals mutilated in a amateur sex change. Next scene, I'm in a doctor's office, getting routine physical. I thank the doctors and leave. I'm with my roommate, S. We're on our way back to my childhood home, taking the road between the small town and a larger city. I know it well. We're driving our old minivan. The air in the tires has deflated. A car pulls up near us. It's the doctor. He offers to take us back to his office to call AAA. I guess my cell phone doesn't work or I don't have it on me. I go back, and we sit in a doctor's office. S and I put together that this place is responsible for the disappearances. We gather it's a slave trade, with feminized males in particular. A nurse comes in and asks a question. We confront her. She seems disinterested. She walks casually to a drawer. I step toward her, demanding she answer. She pulls out something from the drawer. Suddenly she pirouettes on one leg and swipes a rag across my face. My vision suddenly distorts and I feel a headache. I stumble about but can't find my legs. She takes a needle and jams it into my neck. ~FIN~

It was about a week ago now, but I had a dream that was a crossover of Skyrim and sci-fi.  I was at a moon base that was being attacked by dragons.

A lot of times my dreams center around saving the world/universe/town/whatever from some evil or catastrophe.  Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.

I know that some dream I had a couple of nights ago was hilarious, though I don't remember anything beyond a Lego ballsack being involved at some point.

I just woke up from a dream where I was hired to be the cashier at this store in the middle of nowhere. Everything was quiet and dead, like you would expect in the middle of nowhere, but once I stood behind the register the place became packed with people. The line snaked around the store and out the door, and everyone was in a hurry and super pissed. When I went to ring up the first customer the register had turned into this big weird contraption with all kinds of levers and gears. I didn't know how to use it, and people just got angrier.

At that point the dream kind of morphed into me sitting in the audience at some kind of banquet for celebrities. I was sitting in between Dave Grohl and some hot chick who kept switching between flirtatious and mad.

Last night I dreamed that some guy who I knew in high school wanted me to go with him to some river to hunt frogs in a freaking tank. I was rather torn, as I didn't really want to see him, but going frog hunting in a tank seemed like the bee's fucking knee's at the time.

The odd part is that I have nothing against frogs. Hell, I think they're kind of cute. I certainly don't want to go blowing them up with a tank of all things.

I was having a pretty cool zombie dream the other night, but a text from my professor (of all things) woke me up as I was nearing the climax.

I was drinking water out of my favorite glass, and the glass shattered as I drank it, leaving shards throughout my mouth I could not get rid of. They just kept cutting my mouth and tongue and gums over and over.

I can never have good dreams that are memorable...

EDIT: I take it back! Right before THAT bit of pleasantry, I had a dream where my mother beat the shit out of Fire and Flames on Guitar Hero III, Expert mode. ... ... ... why my brain did this, I don't know.

YES! Finally had a memorable, overall-good dream. Starts off with the family (sans dad) in our old minivan taking a roadtrip. In fact, my brain shows me a map of where we're going. Instead of San Francisco, the city has been replaced with Miles City. We're on our way to see Miles, you see! We stop at some relative's place. I never see who they are but I get a strong sense of boredom with it. I go and ride my bike around the unfamiliar (even in my dreams, I've never seen it before) city. At some point, I blow a hole in my back tire. Three cute guys happen to see and help me put a bandaid over the hole (I don't know) which I get the idea will sustain me long enough to get to... my old elementary school! Of course!

I go there, and ride pretty well for a blown tire, down the hallways. I say hello to my old 4th grade teacher, my favorite teacher ever, as she's leaving (she became a substitute after retiring) and down the hallway I remember so well. I round the corner, and I'm on my way toward my 5th grade teacher's room when my 3rd grade teacher, my least favorite ever, started following me down the hall, wondering why the fuck I was riding a bicycle through the school. But she called me "Timmy". Twice. I get the emotional sense of cruelty at this part. So... I turn around and give her a lecture about how I was just going to try to get my bike repaired. I show her the hole and say "screw you lady, if you're going to be such a bitch, I'm going home!" And I start walking off with the bike.

So to sum up, on the way to go visit Miles, I meet three cute guys who, I failed to mention, are actually kinda into me, meet up with my favorite teacher of all time, and tell off that teacher I always hated in grade school. Other than the flat tire, nothing bad happened in it at all. And I remember every detail. ^_^

Good dreams you can remember well are awesome.  I've not had many lately, but when I do, I treasure them.

I don't remember what I dreamed about last night, but I do remember waking up and finding I'd slept on my arm in such a way that it had gone completely numb. In my sleep-addled state, I grabbed my numb wrist with my other hand and immediately thought "what the fuck is this weird, fleshy object doing in bed with me?" Fun times...

Reminds me... one time I had a dream I got punched in the face, then woke up immediately after, only to find out that I really DID hit myself in the face by subconsciously pulling on the covers when my hand slipped and the momentum made it whack into my face.

In addition to waking up with a numb arm and accidentally hitting myself, I often knock things off my nightstand in my sleep. I've broken SO many lamps.
