King of the Hill, but Hank's a software engineer instead of a propane salesman.

"Ah write Python and Python extensions, I tell you hwat."

fluffyDbringer:

Been away for a while now.

Partially because the hard drive on my computer died and it I lost hundreds of bookmarks and passwords. Partially because I've been going through stuff and getting back here wasn't high on my priority list.

Anyway. In other news, I was apparently banned from my favourite Discord group last night. The only things I did the day before was a) Have a conversation about how likely it was that a specific character would be into anal sex (it was the adult section and the dude was drawing a porn comic about the show) b) after hearing the admin complain about a boycott of the show I mentioned that I hadn't even heard about it and got insulted by the admin and then my last message was the one where after Asking Jeeves I said that I guess the boycott was because one of the show creators was a sexist creep that made the office an unsafe workplace for women and LGBT+ employees...

Okay tinfoil hat time:

Everyone know about the fundie protest group One Million Moms?  If you don't they are a group of less then a thousand jerks who protest any show or commercial that has a gay person in it or otherwise is vaguely non-fundie christian.

Looking at some of their stuff I'm honestly wondering if they are actually real, or just an advertising front trying to drum up publicity for products via the streisand effect.  Like I just submitted this piece railing against the new disney show, The Owl House https://onemillionmoms.com/current-campaigns/disney-airs-new-demonic-series-the-owl-house/ because it was really funny.  But giving it a second read it started to look like an ad for the show, focusing on details that make the show sound really cool.

Okay I'm probably just being a conspiracy theorist but similar things have happened, a few years ago EA got fake protesters to picket their company over some shitty game they were making.

RavynousHunter:
Meh, I wouldn't be surprised.  Hell, that's actually a pretty brilliant scheme: fan the flames of bullshit outrage about a complete non-issue, creating exposure on multiple forms of media, thus driving brand awareness to everyone else that isn't so inclined toward fundamentalist idiocy.
