All pertinent information can be found in zis thread, mein freund.

Basically, after the forum move, it was decided that NSFW was more trouble than its worth.  If people wanted porn...well, there's plenty of sites for that, and some of the actual, interesting discussions were moved to CC, while the rest are nixed.  Some of the old topics have been reformed elsewhere, but for the most part, NSFW is gone for the foreseeable future.
