Somehow, I doubt it'll stick.  Remember when Family Guy "killed" Brian Griffin?

Remember when this show was good?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I remember hearing about such an era in history class, back in high school. That must've been quite an interesting time to be alive.

The Simpsons has killed off several characters without bringing them back (e.g. Maude Flanders, Homer's mother, Bleeding Gums Murphy). Then again, there was also the whole Fit Tony/Fat Tony thing.

I don't like that they are hyping this. When they killed Maude they did it suddenly and got a good story out of it. The fact that it was so sudden and unexpected made it work.

This is something that you would expect from the worst drivel there is. Like a Marvel or DC comic for example.

Killing Maude was a huge mistake, in my opinion. I've never been able to watch that episode again and it's painful to see what it's done to Flanders. I hope they don't kill anyone big this time.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

So, uh, are they still a thing?

Also, this might be off topic, but I have this weird fantasy I need to share. I've been wondering: if Fox will ever get rid of Family Guy, I feel the final episode should be a crossover with South Park, where Meg teams up with Eric Cartman to murder the rest of her family. You know Trey and Matt would be up for ending Family Guy permanently.

I dunno, I consider South Park in the same basket-to-hell as Family Guy and American Dad.

If there's one trope I could erase from existence, it would be the Tonight Someone Dies trope.  It's so overdone, and a lot of the time, makes the show sucky by killing off a beloved character.

They should finally have a Family Guy episode where all the main "Funny" characters get killed in slow, agonizing ways.

Sounds like one of those "lost episode" creepypastas.
