So...
Babs gets bullied at home and takes it out on the CMC = "She has her reasons, we should pity her and let her suffer no repercussions for her behavior."
CMC get bullied by Babs and take it out on her = "OMG what are you doing, that is never justified, bad CMC, shame on you!"
So I guess the moral of the story is: if you get bullied, you should attack someone completely unrelated rather than the bully themselves. Got it.
I didn't get this impression at all.
For one thing, nobody was harsh on the CMC for stooping to the level of bullies. Aside from the CMC themselves, but that's because they knew they were doing something wrong.
For another, The CMC and Babs learned their lesson
together. It was treated as
both were in the wrong.
(In other words, it's not okay to bully a bully. That's a message I agree with)
If anything, the moral was "Don't be afraid to go to an adult about this issue" Which was delivered so anviliciously that it made me kinda sick.
Am I the only older person who does like the CMC?? They're cute. I don't get the CMC hate.
I like the CMC, too, but I will admit, episodes focused around them tend to be my less liked episodes.
