Being so, you would think that he would have learned the limit of his executive authority and enough about the US Constitution to consider sacking the legislature by executive fiat would be a violation of the separation of powers. Then again it's not like Joh Bjielke-Peterson knew there were limits on executive power. But then again he was a joke (despite his control over some couple of million people) - a bad joke in Queensland and a good joke in the rest of the Country.
