Flash games were a lot of fun. I kinda miss them too.

Thankfully NewGrounds is resurging. Just... block out the porn if you don't want to look at it, theres a setting to turn it off, and its all over ever since tumblr shit the bed.

I was going to make a snide comment on "why wouldn't I want to look at porn?" but then remembered that I might want to play something while kids are in the room.

I just found something snazzy.

http://cornel1801.com/disney/movie.html

They have pretty much every pre-2013 Disney movie available to watch for free.

I think under the right circumstances, Fred Rogers and Bob Ross could have been good friends.

And hopefully Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter would be their friends too. That would be a very wholesome neighborhood.

Maybe? If they could've gotten Irwin to leave the deadly animals alone long enough.  And Steve's intensity I suppose would balance out the others' laid back chill.

Both Bob Ross and Fred Rogers were all about people improving themselves. Ross through creativity (who once painted all in grey to show a colorblind viewer that anyone can paint) and Rogers through kindness (like how he would say outloud he was feeding his fish so the blind girl watching knew they were being cared for).

Steve Irwin was more about exploration. The other two, introspection. Yes, all three encouraged love of the world around them. Ross would love to paint the snakes in their natural environments and Irwin would be the first to help Ross with his squirrel rehabilitation efforts. And Fred would have been there with both of them, explaining how snakes are part of our world but not to mess with them because the snakes don't like it.

And then the whys. Steve Irwin was chasing the thrills. I can offer no proof of that except I know way too many thrill seekers and they all had the same eyes. His payoff was the thrill of picking up the deadly snake. Ross was a teacher through and through. His joy came when viewers sent in pictures of their own paintings. And Rogers, kindness and love of self and others.

True, all three had different target audiences. And that's gotta make a huge difference. But not big enough.

Would they get along if they all met? Probably. But they wouldn't have been the 3 buddies going to a juice bar together. But then, that's good in its own way. We live in the same world as the 3 of them did. And they were all remarkable, each in their own way.

Spambots on this forum are all really easy to catch and don't even show up often but lately there's been a wave of bots that try to advertise fake passports and stuff. Like, surprisingly many from a similar source considering that usually these are just hit n run and one off deals as bots are sent to random sites. Now someone is repeatedly trying to make folks on FSTDT buy Russian passports.

My avatar was getting too distracting for me - I needed a new one that didn't move.

Actually animated avatars have been doing that a lot lately.

The laziest spambot so far. It had a message with the word "porno" twice with one of them being a hyperlink.
